SPOTIFY FOR COOKBOOKS

Like many chefs, Matt Cockerill and Nadia Arumugan were frustrated by the ridiculous amount of irrelevant search results that come up when googling for recipes. Browsing the groaning shelves of bookshops for good cookbooks is also a hopeless task. If only there was a place where all the best culinary content could be brought together … Matt and Nadia felt that there had to be a better way and launched the project ckbk (pronounced as cookbook) after a Kickstarter campaign.

Unlimited access to a collection of hundreds of the world’s best cook books with more than 100 000 recipes. The cook books were selected with the help of hundreds of prominent chefs and food writers, including Nigella Lawson, Yotam Ottolenghi and Fergus Henderson. Cockerill said that the aim of ckbk is to create an online community where lovers of cookbooks, who want to cook the best they can, can share hints, tips, photos and recommendations for their favourite cook book recipes, thus creating ‘recipe playlists’.

Scroll through new cook books, discover exotic kitchens and different techniques and view personalised recipes, seasonal articles, podcasts and videos for new inspiration. Thanks to the clever filters and extensive search categories you will find what you need in no time.
